"Balance of Life" is an original painting by Irene Chavez done with acrylic paint on a 18" x 24 " stretched canvas. This painting represents the two sides there are in the world, the good and the evil. The “good” side is being represented by a halo over the woman's head and the heart weighing more. The “evil” side is being represented by a horn that carries the money. Ultimately the heart represents happiness and the money repents wealth. The woman in the painting also represents Irene struggling between her two options. She has the option to do what she loves and sacrifice wealth or work for someone else's dreams in exchange for wealth.
